Fly Press Fantasy Comes True!

Hello Fly Press!
This precision, smashing power with a turn-of-the-wheel machine, has been on the wish list for some time now.  Jesse and I just finished fabricating the table today.  The casters lower down to allow for mobility and hopefully, we will find time to forge a few tools for it soon!  We both are excited to be able to design around such a great addition to the shop.

CBA Oktoberfest - Steve Lopes, "THANK YOU!"

Steve Lopes gives a forging demo.
Bernie follows suit.
Jesse's Truckee River Railroad reclaimed iron letter opener. SOLD!
Last weekend we attended the CBA Oktoberfest conference in Cazadero. Nestled in the woods above the coast, we hung out at Fritz Hagist’s forge with some of the best smiths on the west coast. Lighting master, Steve Lopes, openly shared years of knowledge with us, for which we will be forever grateful. He also provided excellent nighttime entertainment in the form of fireside music, and made Jesse proud when he purchased his Truckee River Railroad reclaimed iron letter opener at auction. See all you guys and girls at the next conference!
