Last weekend we attended the CBA Oktoberfest conference in Cazadero. Nestled in the woods above the coast, we hung out at Fritz Hagist’s forge with some of the best smiths on the west coast. Lighting master, Steve Lopes, openly shared years of knowledge with us, for which we will be forever grateful. He also provided excellent nighttime entertainment in the form of fireside music, and made Jesse proud when he purchased his Truckee River Railroad reclaimed iron letter opener at auction.
