The birds have a five foot wingspan. The wings are forged from one piece of 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 60" copper bar and the head from another shorter piece of the same material. The two parts are then fused and reforged to create the tail. The are suspended by Stainless steel poles at a height of 14 feet. The stainless originated as 1 1/4" round bar.
